I'm Brenda Carter
God Spoke To My Heart!
My name is Brenda Carter of Carter’s For Christ (C4C), and I just wanted to put a face to the name. (This is an old picture but one I love. Just add 26 years to it with hair grayed…smiles. Just wanted to hit the recall button of some of my old colleagues and friends. I'll update it soon.) Some of you may know me from my tenure at the Los Angeles Urban League and/or my membership at the Baldwin Hills Baptist Church in Los Angeles for over 25 years. Baldwin Hills (BH) is one of the most biblically sound churches you will ever find in Los Angeles. If you want to truly hear and understand the Word of God and who God is, BH is the place. Outside of my Acceptance of Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, Baldwin Hills is my Foundation for learning God's Truths. Take a visit one Sunday and if understanding God's Word is what you want then you won't be disappointed. What memories...I got married in that church to my husband, Ronald C. Carter now for 28 years. When God brings two people together...
I am the author of Carter’s For Christ because God laid it on my heart that there was a need for me as a parent to leave a legacy behind that our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren can hear or not, read or not and receive a message through this avenue from us even when my/our time is up on this earth. My prayer is that Carter's For Christ will take on a life of its own.
I will be doing a Daily Audio Devotion in my voice with a comment at the end giving my lifelong wisdom, knowledge, ups and downs of life and how God has brought me through. I want this website to be a user guide to all who visit, read and hear to help assist them to navigate through the pitfalls and successes of this life when I am no longer with you. Note Now: I don’t plan to die anytime soon but God has placed a period (.) behind each of our names. We know not whence we came from, but God had vividly told us where we are going in His Word, and it is our time now to choose.
The devotional readings are universal, and my prayer is that all will enjoy them. Feel free to make comments as I am not immune to godly suggestions and corrections. We all have some level of knowledge and experience that others can use and even benefit from.
Also, please don’t forget to Join our Group sessions and provide some topics of your own that you would like to engage others in. We want to pray for you and with you. We want this to be a place where you can come to share your successes and failures. My prayer is to make us 1,000,000 strong as parents and I know we can do it for our Lord and Savior. When you join a number is generated. I would love to see your name in the top 100,000.
We plan to speak at conferences geared towards delivering the message of Salvation to all who will hear. Going to churches and platforms that will allow us to share The Plan of Salvation booklet. We need to know how to lead our children to Jesus Christ. Carter’s will assist shelters with donations of food and any other services needed to help others, while sharing Christ with them, prayerfully bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Salvation is key and knowing how to share is essential.
